Are you about academics at U of T? IGNITE Academic Orientation is the program for you! IGNITE is a FREE program that is focused on academic preparation and transition. IGNITE is New College's suite of academic oriented sessions that is happening on Friday, September 4th, 2026.


Take this opportunity to speak to academic professionals and resources at the University of Toronto and learn strategies for note taking, writing, researching, studying, and time management. There is no charge to attend. This program will give you an introduction to academic life at U of T and set you up for success as you head into your first semester. 

A full schedule for the program will be released in mid-August. Space is limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
